Congratulations Ella!

Now that the dust is settling after the amazing Shetland Wool Week 2012 and things are returning to the normal level of wooly craziness here, we at Jamieson & Smith would like to take this opportunity of relative calm to publicly congratulate our very own Ella on her graduation.

Ella recently graduated from UHI Shetland College with a BA in Contemporary Textiles with distinction. She supports the local wool industry in her work so its future is looking even brighter! As a proud Shetlander her work draws inspiration from the islands and is a real asset to Shetland and its textile heritage. You can find out a little more about her here. We especially love her Crofthouse Cushions!

As some of you may know we are lucky enough to have Ella working here at J&S. She is an invaluable member of the team and we couldn’t do without her.

Well done Ella!

Congratulations Ella, that is brilliant news. Some more good news for the Curtis Wool group of companies is that Andrew Ibbitson announced that his wife was expecting their first child in the New Year, 13 weeks and all is well!
So, good news all round. Keep knitting, maybe some Real Shetland wool bootees are in order?
    Best wishes to all, Martin
