More cones now available

Our 2ply Jumper Weight has been flying off the shelves so quickly lately that we’ve recently had to order in lots of new batches, which means we now have a lot more shades available on cone! These have all been photographed and updated online and are available here. As usual we only get in a certain number of cones per dye lot so get yours early before they run out until the next batch.

New Cones

We also have some very exciting new yarn ranges in development but there is still a bit more work to be done on these so more will be revealed about this in the coming months…

I know there are more and more enquiries coming through, not only for balls of wool but also for yarn on cone and on hank. We are investing in additional stocks, introducing new and exciting yarns, new shades and we are feeling very positive about the future of Jamieson and Smith`s Real Shetland wool ranges.
It has always been our hope that we could recapture the kudos that Real Shetland wool, grown in the Shetland Islands had and we are more confident than ever that we are on the right track. We need to get more money back to the crofter/sheep producers, to Jamieson and Smith and also to our processors and manufacturers. There are no short cuts, just a real desire from us all to help this wonderful wool achieve the success that it deserves. If we all benefit as a result I see that as a winning formula; from the wool producer through to the final knitters and designers and buying public without whom we wouldn`t have a business.

Brilliant that you are making cones available in more colours – any news on when we might get Shade 203 on a cone?
